Welcome to In My Views Designs!

I’m Kerriann Wolfrom, owner and designer of these great gifts and wall art creations.  Originally from New York (once a New Yorker, always a New Yorker), I moved to Northern New England 20 years ago.

I’ve always crafted.  My hobbies have run the spectrum from glass designing and wood working to knitting and crocheting.  But I never found anything that kept my interest for more than a few months.  I can’t tell you how many unfinished needle work, blankets and flower arrangements I’ve had in my home over the years.

Then, one day, I was introduced to scrapbooking by a very good friend of mine.  Finally, I found something that kept my interest for more than an hour!  For years I was an avid (more like obsessed) scrapbooker and card maker.  I kept many a scrapbook store in business, I assure you.

When I ran out of pictures to scrapbook (or more precisely, my son decided that he didn’t want to pose for any more pictures), I started looking into other paper crafts.

That is when I found Paper Tole.

Paper Tole, also known as three-dimensional decoupage, is the art of handcrafting three-dimensional pictures from flat prints. This art is created by skillfully cutting, shaping, and assembling pieces of paper layered onto an image until a three-dimensional version of the image emerges. Though there are a number of ways to use paper tole, one of the most popular is to frame the images in deep wall frames and display it as wall art which is what I do today.  I’ve made many different images and the possibilities are endless.  Come see what designs I can come up with next.   I think you will be surprised.

Kerriann lives in New Hampshire family, two cats and a continuously growing flock of chickens.
